Our youngest learners can master the spelling of 100+ words with the Word Magic app.  Just indicate whether you want to work on beginning, middle or end sounds by tapping on a choice tab at the top of the screen.  Words are presented one at a time on the screen with a colorful picture for support and one or more missing letter.  The word is read aloud in a child's voice.  The student can pick the missing letter(s) from four choices.  Preferences can be modified to select from two levels, to present words in lower or upper case letters, and to set a maximum word length, up to 6.  This app is appropriate for ages 4-7.
